About the position
Introduction
Leads end-to-end digital strategy, digital marketing and qualified traffic into the omnichannel and across paid and owned channels, optimizing digital performance, media spend, customer engagement and reach.
Duties & Responsibilities
Create and execute digital marketing strategies plans across all doors to the stores and customer engagement into Pick n Pay through our channels - Be the leader of Digital Marketing, Digital Media and the Technical ASAP! Funnel ensuring alignment with overall business and brand objectives
Manage media performance, SEO/SEM and analytics tracking
Collaborate with Head Marketing Ops, Head Retail PR and the Integrated Marketing Leaders delivering the digital briefs for the integrated leaders and the agencies
Collaborate with the agencies on digital creative
Manage the media agencies
Partner with agencies to drive campaign performance to ensure seamless campaign execution, alignment and innovation in digital delivery
Partner with UX, content and other respective teams to optimise customer journeys and enhance user experience across digital touchpoints
Ensure all digital activities are compliant with regulatory and internal standards, maintaining consistency and integrity across digital assets and campaigns
Continuously optimise content based on engagement metrics
Lead, mentor and grow a high performing digital operations team, fostering a culture of performance, accountability and continuous improvement
Manage all digital content and work with Retail PR with the creators and influencers
Manage all the digital platforms
Manage all social media platforms for Pick n Pay and community management
Manage all digital risk
Manage all cyber risk
Lead and manage all digital teams across Pick n Pay
Desired Experience & Qualification
Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, or Communications, CM SA an advantage
10 plus years in Retail Digital Marketing (essential)
