Head: Balance Sheet Management (Non-Life) at Msp

About the position

A leading non-life insurance organisation is seeking an experienced Head: Balance Sheet Management to lead the actuarial team responsible for reserving, capital management, solvency assessments, regulatory reporting, and actuarial modelling. The successful candidate will provide strategic actuarial oversight to ensure financial stability, drive regulatory compliance, manage stakeholder relationships, and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Balance Sheet Management function.

Experience Requirements:

• Qualified Actuary with a minimum of 5-8 years' experience, preferably within the non-life insurance industry
• 2-3 years' people management experience with the ability to lead and develop actuarial teams
• Strong experience in IFRS reserving, SAM capital modelling, technical provisions, and ORSA solvency assessments
• Proven experience in regulatory reporting, capital management, and financial reporting within the insurance sector
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging auditors, regulators, and senior business stakeholders
