About the position

Postion Summary:
The main purpose of this role is to carry timeous and quality planned, preventative and emergency maintenance on all equipment and building for SARO Sites in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform task in accordance to job cards or work orders issued, as per client and company requirementsConduct investigation, evaluation and restorations on identified equipment malfunctionCarry out minor repairs and service on all electrical equipment and appliances as per SLAPerform office movement related task, including but not limited to repairs and maintenanceCarry out minor repairs and service on all plumbing related equipment as per SLAPerform tier 1 inspections and repairs on all air-con related equipmentCarry out inspections and report back on all fire and access equipmentPerform H&S maintenance on the building and equipmentEnsure that access control and CCTV equipment's are inspected and maintained at all timesProvide constant feedback to the Site Service Supervisor on restoration status of operationsVehicle maintenance and cleaningParticipate in planned/unplanned projects

Minimum Qualification:

• Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / National Certificate / Vocational 4 /N3 N4 N5/ NQF 4

Minimum Experience:

• 3-3 years

• Grade 12N2/N3 Technical certificate (electrical, plumbing, mechanical or HVAC)Trade Test will be advantageous

Experience:

• 3 years experience in building maintenance, air-conditioning, electrical, water reticulation and grounds maintenanceBasic training on hand tools, electrical and mechanical equipmentValid driver's license and 2 years of driving experience

Knowledge:

• Knowledge in building maintenance (painting, tilling, woodwork, plastering, bricklaying and civil work)Knowledge in reading schematic drawingsKnowledge of OHS Act and ISO9001
