About the position

Pinetown - Join a well-established team in the logistics sector as an Administrator. This role is ideal for an organized individual with strong administrative and communication skills.

Our client is a respected player in the logistics and supply chain industry. They provide comprehensive transportation and warehousing solutions across the region. With a focus on efficiency and customer service, they are committed to operational excellence.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting administrative functions within the office.
This includes document handling, data entry, coordination of daily operational needs, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires someone who thrives in a structured environment and has a proactive approach to problem-solving.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update internal databases and filing systems
  • Prepare and process documentation related to logistics operations
  • Monitor and manage emails and correspondence
  • Assist in the coordination of deliveries and collections
  • Maintain records of vehicle movements and fleet documents
  • Compile and submit reports as required
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers to ensure accurate communication
  • Support management with various ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Ensure office supplies are stocked and ordered when necessary
  • Assist with compliance and document verification processes
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12) is essential
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Additional travel may be required (Compensation will be given)
  • Prior experience in the logistics or supply chain sector is advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong data capturing and filing skills

 
Remuneration:
R5 000 – R6 000 (Half-day – Mornings OR Afternoons)
