About the position

GROUP FINANCIAL DIRECTOR (Cape Town)

Purpose of the Job
Our client is a diversified financial services organisation in the northern suburbs that requires a Group FD to - plan, manage & strategize all aspects of their finance function.
 
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

  • Qualified CA
  • At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in financial services
  • Up to date IFRS knowledge & experience

 
Broad Technical Requirements & Competencies

  • Financial policies and processes – implement, manage & improve, whilst ensuring legislative compliance.
  • Financial Accounting – prepare accurate monthly & annual financial statements.
  • Management Accounts – monthly variance analysis & explanation.
  • Audit & Risk – plan, implement, conform & mitigate as per all statutory requirements – financial & other.
  • Taxation – ensure fully compliant & punctual returns with PAYE, VAT & Provisional Tax.
  • Forecasting, Budgeting & Treasury – cashflow planning & financing within group and externally.
  • HR & Payroll
