About the position
GROUP FINANCIAL DIRECTOR (Cape Town)
Purpose of the Job
Our client is a diversified financial services organisation in the northern suburbs that requires a Group FD to - plan, manage & strategize all aspects of their finance function.
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
- Qualified CA
- At least 7 years of post-qualification experience in financial services
- Up to date IFRS knowledge & experience
Broad Technical Requirements & Competencies
- Financial policies and processes – implement, manage & improve, whilst ensuring legislative compliance.
- Financial Accounting – prepare accurate monthly & annual financial statements.
- Management Accounts – monthly variance analysis & explanation.
- Audit & Risk – plan, implement, conform & mitigate as per all statutory requirements – financial & other.
- Taxation – ensure fully compliant & punctual returns with PAYE, VAT & Provisional Tax.
- Forecasting, Budgeting & Treasury – cashflow planning & financing within group and externally.
- HR & Payroll
Behavioural Requirements & Competencies
