Group Financial Controller (EE)

About the position

Our client, a market leader in the IT and Cyber Security Industry, based in Gauteng, is currently looking to employ an experienced Group Financial Controller (EE).

Requirements:

• Professional qualifications – CA with two years post articles experiences.
• Proven IFRS knowledge.
• Business experience.
• Excellent technical knowledge.
• Experience in ICT industry advantageous.
• Systems migration experience and advantage.
• Data analysis and quantification experience incl advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal communication (French advantageous).
• Problem detection and analysis. 

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Prepare month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations in the different African Opco’s.
• Provide accurate financial reports to management.
• Prepare and analyse budgets.
• Track and report on budget variances.
• Manage billing, accounts receivables, accounts payable, cost accounting, inventory accounting and revenue recognition.
