Group Finance Manager

About the position

We are currently recruiting for a Group FM position on behalf of one of our clients, and we're looking for a specific profile that's the right fit-not just for the role, but also for long-term growth within the business.

?? What You'll Be Doing

Oversee the full accounting function across all trading entities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Oversight and management of the Group's accounting systems, processes, and finance staff.
• Timely compilation and distribution of accurate monthly management reports.
• Managing the Group's Credit Control and collections functions.
• Overseeing cash flow and managing banking facilities.
• Coordinating and managing audits across the Group-liaising with auditors, ensuring all prep work is done timeously.
• Assisting with Machine Order administration, including debtor/creditor transactions, forward cover, and liaising with relevant external parties.
• Developing and implementing Group-wide Accounting Policies and Procedures.
• Collaborating with other departments and branches to drive continuous improvement in financial processes.

? What We're Looking For

• BCom degree with a major in Accounting.
• SAICA articles completed (non-CA).
• 1-3 years' post-article experience in a finance/accounting role, preferably in a team leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Experience with Syspro would be a big advantage.
• A team player who's proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to step into a role with real responsibility and visibility.
