About the position

DESCRIPTION/SYNOPSIS
An esteemed and well-established Company in the agriculture sector has an opportunity available for an experienced Group Finance Manager. This hybrid position, based in Kempton Park, requires a qualified CA(SA) with strong group-level financial leadership experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance, building high-performing teams, and driving excellence across the group's financial function.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Chartered Accountant - CA(SA)
• Extensive post-articles experience in a senior finance leadership role
• Proven experience at group level, including consolidations and reporting
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen
• Previous experience in the agriculture, forestry, or manufacturing sectors would be advantageous

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic financial leadership and support to the executive team
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing group finance team
• Oversee group reporting, financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure statutory compliance and manage external audit processes
• Drive the implementation of financial controls, systems and reporting structures
• Manage complexity across business units and deliver consolidated financial insights
• Act as a strategic partner to business units and contribute to long-term financial decision-making
• Foster a performance-driven culture and continuously improve financial operations
