About the position
A leading, fast-growing business is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Finance Manager to take ownership of its finance function across a diverse and dynamic portfolio.
This is a high-impact role suited to a strategic thinker who can operate at both a technical and operational level, partnering closely with leadership to drive financial performance and support business growth.
?? Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full financial management and reporting function, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support business initiatives and investment decisions
- Support project feasibility assessments, including scenario analysis and risk evaluation
- Manage relationships with funders, auditors, and key external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, controls, and processes through innovation and automation
- Oversee debtor management, billing processes, and cash flow optimisation
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
? Requirements
- CA (SA) or equivalent qualification
- 7–10+ years’ relevant experience in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Strong background in financial modelling, planning, and analysis
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end finance functions
- Advanced systems and Excel capability
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at a senior level
- Commercial mindset with excellent problem-solving ability
