Group Executive: Strategic Infrastructure Programmes.

Location: Johannesburg | Type: Permanent | Package: Competitive TCTC

Lead infrastructure that transforms a nation!

We're hiring exclusively for a leading African development finance institution (DFI) that catalyses inclusive economic growth through strategic infrastructure investment. The Bank delivers high-impact projects across energy, water, transport, ICT, and climate resilience-partnering with government, DFIs, donors, and the private sector.

The Opportunity:
As Executive Head: Infrastructure Programmes & Delivery, you'll report directly to the CEO and lead the Bank's centralised coordination of flagship national programmes. You'll oversee the entire lifecycle-from ideation and financing to execution and impact.

You Should Apply If You:

  • Have led large-scale infrastructure or service delivery programmes at executive level
  • Bring experience in DFIs, PPPs, infrastructure funds, or public sector investment institutions.
  • Understand the full project lifecycle, funding mobilisation, and cross-sectoral delivery
  • Thrive in high-level stakeholder environments including government, boards, donors, and multilaterals.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor's + Postgraduate (e.g., Infrastructure Finance, Dev Studies, MBA)
  • 12+ years in senior infrastructure programme/project management; 5+ in an executive role
  • Track record in complex programme delivery, public-private collaborations, and ESG-driven initiatives
