About the position
Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mid-Level Graphic Designer to produce high-quality visual assets across print and digital platforms.
This role would suit a hands-on designer who is confident managing multiple design projects, working within brand guidelines, and ensuring professional execution across marketing collateral. The successful candidate will also guide and oversee the day-to-day design output of a Junior DTP Operator.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce a wide range of marketing materials, including adverts, brochures, manuals, presentations, signage, and promotional items.
- Develop creative concepts in collaboration with the marketing team for campaigns and initiatives.
- Ensure all design work aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.
- Prepare artwork for print and digital production, ensuring accuracy and quality standards.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and business requirements.
- Oversee and guide the Junior DTP Operator, including quality control, workflow management, and task allocation.
- Review and approve final artwork before release or print.
- Work closely with the Digital Content and Marketing Specialist to ensure cohesive campaign execution across platforms.
- Assist with event-related design requirements, including trade shows, activations, and promotional collateral.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Diploma or Degree preferred.
- 3-5 years' experience in a graphic design role, preferably within a marketing or in-house environment.
- Proven experience producing both print and digital design work.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design work across different formats.
- Experience preparing artwork for print production, including layout, colour and file setup.
- Experience working within brand guidelines and maintaining visual consistency.
- Experience overseeing or mentoring junior design or DTP staff.
Technical Skills Required
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically:
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
Strong understanding of:
- Print production processes and requirements
- Layout, typography and visual hierarchy
- File preparation for print, digital and large-format outputs

Reporting Structure
The role reports to the Marketing Manager and works closely with the Digital Content and Marketing Specialist. The successful candidate will oversee the Junior DTP Operator.
