Graphic Designer

About the position

Amazing opportunity available for a Graphic Designer based in the Western Cape with remote / hybrid working.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Designing printed materials: Zines, cards, posters, merch, etc.
• Creating visual assets for digital platforms: social posts, web elements, signage, etc.
• Interpreting briefs and applying existing design systems
• Working with the Creative Lead to evolve the brand and build consistency
• Preparing print-ready files and liaising with printers
• Handling layout design under pressure when needed (e.g. term packs)
• Developing designs that are both visually expressive and practically usable
• Participating in collaborative design iterations and feedback cycles
• Staying aligned with the Company aesthetic: bold, minimalist, playful, grounded
• Bonus if you can also handle motion graphics, illustration, or light video editing.

Requirements:

• A design diploma or similar training
• At least 3 years of solid graphic design experience
• Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Experience preparing files for commercial printing
• A good sense of layout, typography, and hierarchy
• Comfort balancing expressive and instructional design
• Bonus if you're into comics, anime, gaming, cyberpunk, sci-fi, etc., as it shows up in our work
