JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
- Print & Graphic Development: Create placement prints, all-over patterns, and branding graphics for apparel, accessories, and packaging.
- Trend Research & Analysis: Stay up to date with fashion and graphic design trends, conducting market and competitor research to ensure our designs remain relevant.
- Brand Identity & Consistency: Develop and maintain a cohesive visual identity across product graphics, ensuring alignment with the retailer's brand vision.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Fashion Designers, Textile Designers, Product Developers, and Buying Teams to translate concepts into commercial designs.
- Technical Execution: Prepare production-ready artwork, including print repeats, color separations, and technical specifications for suppliers.
- Regular store visits, know what is happening in competitors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 4 years' relevant experience
- Diploma in Graphic Art / Design
- Well-versed in Adobe Suite, Photoshop, illustrator.
- Experience as a graphic designer in a retail environment/manufacturer
- A portfolio showcasing your work and experience
Skills:
- Understanding of print techniques, fabrications, and production processes.
- Ability to hand-draw illustrations is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- High level of creativity and has the ability to be innovative
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong multitasking skills (ability to work on more than one brief at any given time)
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Strong sense of color, typography, and composition.
