About the position
Somerset West
Sal up to 35k per month depending on experience and qualifications
Join a leader in agricultural commodity trading as their next Logistics Coordinator. This is a permanent opportunity to take charge of high-volume logistics operations in a fast-paced, environment.
What you'll do
- Oversee bulk commodity transport from planning to delivery.
- Negotiate rates and manage transporter contracts.
- Track loads in real time and keep stakeholders updated.
- Ensure smooth documentation, invoicing, and reconciliations.
- Resolve operational issues quickly-even after hours when needed.
- Report on competitor activity and suggest process improvements.
What you need in order to apply
- Degree/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or similar.
- 2 to 5 years in agri logistics coordination (bulk agri commodities). THIS IS ESSENTIAL
- Sharp negotiation and commercial skills.
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
