About the position

Locations: Modderpoort, Prieska, Morgenzon, Oranjerivier

Core Purpose of the Position:
To assist Silo Management with daily operations and to ensure accurate, fair, and ethical grading of commodities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Completed grain grading courses
• Valid driver's licence

Skills Required:

• Good communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Experience in food safety is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Physically capable of performing the duties (e.g., climbing silos)
• Strong administrative orientation
• Willingness to work long hours when necessary

Key Responsibilities:

• Grading of commodities (grain)
• Stock control and inventory management
• Compliance with safety and food safety regulations
• Accurate and timely record-keeping and administration
