You're a recent commerce or finance graduate with a genuine passion for financial planning and building a long-term career in wealth management. You're highly organised, numerate and detail-oriented, with a low tolerance for errors. You take pride in meeting deadlines, enjoy working in a structured environment, and are confident communicating professionally in English. You're proactive, eager to learn, tech-savvy and excited by fintech systems. Most importantly, you're motivated to grow towards obtaining your CFP designation.
You'll work closely with an experienced Wealth Manager, providing hands-on administrative and technical support while gaining exposure to private client wealth management. You'll assist with new client onboarding, maintain CRM records, liaise with internal and external service providers, and help prepare client review packs. You'll gain practical exposure to compliance processes including FICA and FAIS requirements, assist with drafting Records of Advice and disclosure documents, and support the compilation of financial needs and retirement analyses. This role offers structured learning in a deadline-driven, client-centric environment.

Known for their professionalism, strong compliance culture and client-first approach, they provide a collaborative team environment where young professionals are mentored and developed into trusted advisors. You'll be fully office based in lovely offices in Claremont, Cape Town.
A completed commerce, finance or related degree from a reputable tertiary institution is essential. While no formal work experience is required, a strong academic foundation in financial planning, investments or economics will be advantageous. You should demonstrate sound numerical ability, strong administrative skills, proficiency in MS Office, and a clear intention to pursue your CFP qualification. Knowledge of FAIS, FICA or financial planning principles will be beneficial.
You'll receive structured mentorship, hands-on industry exposure, and the opportunity to build practical experience towards your CFP journey within a professional and supportive team environment. This is a 3 year contract and only candidates living in the southern suburbs of Cape Town can be considered.
