Graduate Civil Engineer

About the position

Respected engineering consultancy is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join their team in Johannesburg (Randburg).
You will support the planning, design, and delivery of infrastructure projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
Requirements: 

• BSc or BEng. Civil Engineering
• Proficiency in CAD or similar engineering design software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and progress towards professional registration

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Analysis: Assisting with the design of structures, roads, water, and sewage systems using software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Revit.
• Technical Reporting: Preparing technical reports, specifications, and feasibility studies.
• Site Work: Carrying out site inspections, surveys, and assessments of soil and materials.
• Compliance: Ensuring designs meet health, safety, and industry standards/regulations.
• Collaboration: Working with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, planners, and contractors.
• Project Support: Assisting with project management tasks, such as tracking schedules and costs.
