About the position
Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a driven and detail-focused Graduate Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to build your expertise and gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, research, and transaction execution within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
As a Graduate Analyst, you will collaborate with senior professionals across multiple departments. Your role will involve supporting the execution of financial transactions, conducting market and industry research, and contributing to due diligence efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis, research, and due diligence on prospective transactions.
- Assist deal teams in preparing presentations and pitch books for investors.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and analytical tools to support decision-making.
- Perform market research and analyze industry trends to inform investment strategies.
- Support transaction execution, including closing processes and documentation.
- Work with cross-functional teams in corporate finance, M&A, and capital markets (both equity and debt).
- Manage data rooms, ensuring all documents are properly organized and updated.
- Draft announcements and prepare clear, accurate materials for investor meetings.
- Source relevant articles for internal updates and external communications.
- Update pipelines, presentations, and marketing materials with the latest information.
- Participate in meetings with current and prospective investors and partners.
- Perform KYC checks, background research, and financial due diligence on potential investees.
- Prepare investment memoranda and present opportunities to the Investment Committee.
- Analyze financial forecasts, benchmark data, and monitor covenant compliance.
- Ensure all internal pipelines and marketing materials remain current and impactful.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Investments, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong academic performance, ideally with 65–80% in matric Mathematics and 60–70% in English (or equivalent A-levels).
- Previous experience in financial services, credit analysis, or private capital investing is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to simplify financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Language skills in French, Portuguese, or Mandarin are a plus but not essential.
