About the position
Seeking a passionate and innovative Mathematics Teacher to join the high school teaching team on contract until December 2024.
The ideal candidate will be someone who can inspire and engage students in the beauty of mathematics, making complex concepts accessible and exciting
The top priorities of the role are:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and record student progress and provide grades and feedback.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and disciplinary systems.
- Keep up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
- Participate in school events and activities.
The minimum requirements for the role are:
- A relevant qualification in Mathematics AND a teaching qualification or certification.
- Experience in teaching mathematics at high school level.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Zulu.
- Residing close to the location of the high school or willing to relocate at your own cost for the duration of the contract.
- Available immediately and willing to work on contract till December 2024
