About the position
Regional Financial Controller (Simplified)
Location: Johannesburg, Pencil Park
Department: Finance
Remuneration: R40 to R45k Per month.
Purpose of the Role
Ensure all branches in the region follow financial and stock control procedures. The role oversees financial compliance, stock accuracy, audit readiness, and supports branch operations across 12-15 branches.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure financial policies and controls are followed across all branches.
- Manage petty cash, GRVs, purchase orders, CAPEX, and financial documentation.
- Lead and oversee regional stocktakes and investigate stock variances.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and Goods in Transit (GIT).
- Maintain and verify fixed assets and asset registers.
- Assist with insurance claims and fleet card administration.
- Prepare reconciliations and financial reports.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and governance requirements.
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Branch Managers to resolve financial issues.

Minimum Requirements
- Qualification in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing, or similar.
- Experience in financial control, audit, or compliance.
- Experience in retail, wholesale, or multi-branch environments.
- Knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Able to travel to regional branches when required.
