About the position
Are you passionate about safety, compliance, and operational excellence? Here is an oustanding career opportuniy as a GMR 2.1 Supervisor and HSE Specialist to lead statutory compliance and drive health, safety, and environmental performance at a high-impact industrial site.
Your Mission Is To:
- Accept legal appointment under General Machinery Regulation 2.1.
- Ensure safe operation, maintenance, and statutory inspections of machinery.
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure full legal compliance.
The Impact:
- Champion HSE risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Drive behavioural change through training and engagement.
- Lead HSE projects aligned with sustainability goals.
- Influence stakeholders and embed a strong safety culture.
Credentials:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- GCC Factories (advantageous).
- 5+ years in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Deep knowledge of OHS Act, GMR, and SANS standards.
