About the position
General Worker
Location: Kraaifontein, Cape Town
Salary: R11,500.00 per month + Provident fund contribution
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assisting in the yard (loading and off-loading trucks and containers)
- Housekeeping - cleaning warehouse, yard, and canteen
- Assisting in the warehouse (packing of stock, stock take; pick orders; assembling)
- Assist with the packing of goods
- Assist with assembling of micro- and family drips
- Assist with packing stock in proper places
- Assist with any other task as requested by management
- Maintain good housekeeping in yard & shopfloor
- Assist with valve & filter bank assemblies
Skills and Abilities
- Language: Proficient in English, Afrikaans advantageous
- Literacy good written and verbal communication in English
- Prepare to do labour-intensive work
- Valid SA driver's license and/or reliable transport
- Valid forklift license with experience
Education and Experience
- Minimum qualification: Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- 3+ years of working experience in a yard or warehouse
Employment offer
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08h00-17h00, and Friday 08h00-16h00.
