Purpose of the Role
You will oversee and lead a dynamic team of approximately 40 professionals across multiple business functions, including:
- Business Development Consultants (B2B)
- Customer Service Representatives (Italian & UK markets)
- Retention Specialists
- Onboarding Specialists
- Content Publishing Assistants
- Marketing & Brand Staff
This role blends leadership with strategic marketing oversight, ensuring that all teams work cohesively to deliver exceptional results for clients, candidates, and the company brand.
The successful candidate will be a strategic, people-driven leader with strong experience in recruitment operations, marketing management, and performance optimization. They will ensure operational efficiency, brand consistency, and growth across all departments under their leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of around 40 staff across recruitment, marketing, and client service divisions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set KPIs, and implement professional development plans.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
- Manage workload distribution and scheduling to ensure global coverage and productivity across time zones (if applicable).
- Drive motivation, engagement, and continuous improvement through effective communication and recognition.
- Recruitment Operations & Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies aligned with company objectives and client needs.
- Oversee the full recruitment cycle from sourcing and screening to onboarding and retention.
- Continuously optimize recruitment processes, technology tools (ATS, CRM), and team workflows.
- Ensure adherence to employment legislation, data protection regulations, and ethical recruitment standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality placements, candidate experience, and client satisfaction.
- Marketing & Brand Management
- Oversee all marketing and content staff to ensure consistent brand voice and market presence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain a cohesive brand identity across recruitment and client communications.
- Develop and manage marketing strategies to enhance visibility, drive engagement, and support business development initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance metrics, reporting on ROI and adjusting strategies where needed.
- Ensure all external communication, advertising, and digital content align with company standards and target audience expectations.
- Business Development & Client Relationship Management
- Partner with Business Development Consultants to identify, pursue, and secure new client opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships that drive repeat business.
- Support the sales and operations teams in delivering customized recruitment and onboarding solutions.
- Contribute to pricing strategies, service-level agreements, and contract negotiations when required.
- Performance Management & Reporting
- Track and analyze performance metrics across recruitment, marketing, customer service, and onboarding teams.
- Prepare detailed reports on productivity, conversion rates, campaign ROI, and client satisfaction.
- Identify areas for improvement, implement data-driven solutions, and ensure measurable growth in all departments.
- Present performance insights to senior leadership with actionable recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with HR, Marketing, and Training teams to align strategies with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with Content and Customer Service teams to ensure brand integrity and engagement excellence.
- Drive synergy between Onboarding and Retention teams to create a seamless client and candidate experience.
- Promote a unified approach between Recruitment and Marketing to strengthen the companys position in the market.
- Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 8 years experience management experience in e-commerce team management
- Proven experience managing large, diverse teams (30+ employees) across multiple departments.
- Experience in BPO, recruitment agency, or high-volume staffing environments is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, branding, and lead generation strategies.
- Proficiency in CRMs
