A leading public-sector authority entrusted with managing South Africa's most iconic natural landscapes is searching for a trailblazing General Manager: Socio-Economic Transformation (SET) to lead high-impact programmes across the Kruger National Park precinct.

?? Key Focus Areas

• Design and lead socio-economic and transformation strategies
• Drive enterprise, supplier, and biodiversity economy initiatives
• Oversee land claim programmes and community trusts
• Strengthen CPPP/CPP models and local business participation
• Identify and develop revenue-generating opportunities
• Champion stakeholder relations and community empowerment
• Provide governance, strategic guidance, and financial oversight
• Spearhead innovation in events, retail, and tourism products

?? What You Bring

• NQF 8+ qualification in Social Sciences/Community Development (Master's preferred)
• Postgrad in Financial Management or Business Development advantageous
• 6-10 years in socio-economic/community/enterprise development
• 5+ years at senior management level
• Experience in the wildlife economy, rural enterprise, or conservation-linked tourism is a bonus
• Strong grasp of stakeholder engagement, project management & public-private partnerships
