General Manager (Non-profit Education)

About the position

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategic leadership and planning.
• Full spectrum financial management of a non-profit environment.
• Reporting and analysis.
• Day to day operational management and coordinating departmental activities.
• Create efficiency and resilience to meet dynamic market demands.
• Lead the ongoing development and execution of educational content and delivery methods and create an environment that supports the learner journey. This involves overseeing course management, quality control, delivery methods, and measuring their success and impact through high level qualitative analysis.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities, funders, partners and service providers.
• Ensure clear communication and alignment with the organization's strategic goals and vision.
• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Create and implement a governance and compliance structure and framework that ensures the organisation complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. Oversee governance structures and practices to uphold the highest standards of integrity and accountability.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, Education, or a related field. MBA would be an advantage.
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a non-profit or educational organisation.
• Strong understanding of non-profit governance, financial management and operational efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and manage complex projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in educational content creation and delivery methods is highly desirable.
