A well-established business is seeking to appoint a General Manager: Marketing
To lead the development and implementation of integrated marketing strategies and core brand assets, locally and internationally,
that strengthen brand equity, grow brand presence, and support organisational objectives through effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and market insights
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- A postgraduate qualification (MBA or Master’s in Marketing) advantageous.
- Brand custodianship and stewardship experience.
- 10–15 years’ experience in marketing, brand management, or strategic communications. At least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Experience in nation branding, destination marketing or international marketing is highly advantageous.

- Integrated marketing communications campaigns development – designs multi-channel campaigns and guides the cross functional team’s execution.
- Marketing analytics and Performance measurement- monitor international and local perceptions and leads initiatives to strengthen credibility, competitiveness, trust and pride.
- Shapes a compelling story for promotion of investment, tourism, exports, talent attraction and cultural influence and citizen pride.
