About the position
Role Overview
The FTP team is implementing the FTP month-end process in Moody’s and requires a senior consultant to assist with system implementation, testing, and reconciliation against the existing Sendero system.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the FTP month-end process within Moody’s.
- Import and validate account-level asset and liability data for the ZAR banking book.
- Ensure every account is correctly assigned FTP components based on predefined rules and data attributes.
- Tag accounts with business unit and product line indicators and verify aggregation and reporting accuracy to SAP BPC (ledger).
- Perform deal-level comparison between Moody’s and Sendero FTP results.
- Investigate and document differences by referencing FTP rules, methodologies, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with the FTP and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.
Skills & Experience Required
- Advanced Python skills (preferred) for large dataset analysis and comparison.
- If not Python, strong SQL skills will be considered.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) principles and methodologies.
- Experience working with financial systems (Moody’s, SAP BPC, Sendero advantageous).
- Attention to detail and ability to document technical and business findings clearly.

Qualifications
