Functional Head Security Management ServicesJob Purpose: To manage security teams, oversee access control and surveillance infrastructure, and ensure strict compliance with applicable regulations
Appointment Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Security Management (NQF Level 6).
- Grade A PSiRA Certificate
- At least five years’ relevant experience in supervisory role
- A valid Code B driving license
- Computer literacy
- No criminal record.
- No pending criminal cases (awaiting trial) or disciplinary cases.
- Must be willing to undergo a vetting process as determined by the organisation

Primary Functions
- Develop and implement comprehensive security, policies, and emergency response protocols to protect company assets, personnel, and infrastructure.
- Oversee and manage the deployment and maintenance of physical security hardware, including CCTV networks, biometric access control systems, and alarm systems.
- Recruit, train, and manage on-site security personnel, dispatchers, and external security contractors.
- Ensure adherence to regional and national security frameworks (e.g., PSIRA guidelines in South Africa).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to mitigate potential risks.
- Lead investigations into security breaches, theft, or policy violations and coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
