Role Overview
As a Full Stack Java Developer (Advanced) in our ProFlex PRMG Feature Team, you’ll shape the future of vehicle production planning processes. You’ll develop and maintain the Production Planning Capacity Management platform, ensuring vehicles are produced and delivered on time. Collaborate in a dynamic Agile environment, engage with global stakeholders, and deliver high-quality solutions that drive operational excellence
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Full stack development and maintenance of the Production Planning Capacity Management platform
- Collaborate with end users to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, refine user stories, and contribute to system design
- Develop robust solutions aligned with quality and delivery standards
- Provide DevOps support for existing solutions
- Identify and resolve risks/impediments, escalating when necessary
- Prepare system/technical documentation (ISO standards)
- Conduct user training, system testing, parallel runs, and penetration testing
- Ensure system implementation and quality assurance through audits
Essential Skills
- Frontend: Angular 10+, AG Grid, ECMAScript 7+, JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, SCSS
- Backend: Java 8+, Spring Framework (Boot, MVC, Data/JPA, Security)
- Cloud: AWS (Kinesis, CloudWatch, CDK, Fargate)
- Databases & Messaging: Postgres, IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, Apache Camel
- API: RESTful web services
- Tools: Maven, Jasmine, Karma, JUnit, Mockito, Test Containers, Docker
- Methodology: Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter responsibilities
Advantageous Skills
- SonarQube, Microservices, DevOps, IoC/Dependency Injection
- Browser Developer Tools, Engineering Principles, Design Patterns, Clean Coding
- Data Structures, Algorithms, Jenkins (CI/DevOps), Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to interpret business needs and propose solutions
- Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and work ethics
- Flexibility to take on varied tasks and coach colleagues/users
