Analyse a process from start to finish.
Defining and implementing test plans.
Planning and effort estimation for test case execution.
Collaborate with other test analysts, developers and stakeholders.
Collaborate with external vendors.
Act as a point of contact between Developers and other Testers.
Coordinate test data creation with the developers and test analysts.
Ensure appropriate test environment access levels for testers.
Manual, Functional, Frontend, Backend, Technical Testing including test scripting and execution thereof.
Scripting for automation (ensuring that scripting is done in a manner that is ready for handover to automation).
Regression Testing.
Security and Reliability Testing.
Performance Testing.
Path and Condition Testing.
API Testing.
Maintainability Testing.
Portability Testing.
Accessibility Testing (specific to ADA).
Mobile testing, multiple device testing, multiple browser and multiple OS testing.
Static and Dynamic analysis.
Plan, organize and support Test Case/Script creation and analysis (including Technical Test Cases).
Identification, Creation, Sanitation & Anonymization of Test Data.
Interpretation of Testing Results and logging of Defects on JIRA.
Reporting on Test Results and analysis.
Defect management and reporting thereof.
Managing and communicating issues, communication with team and stakeholders.
Follow up on defect fixes identified during test execution and clear defect capturing on JIRA.
Preparation and communication / reporting of Test reports / results to Stakeholders during test execution, with attention to details and correctness.
Manual execution of test cases and defect retesting (manually) when required / when there are failures in the automation pack.
Track new/changed requirements and ensure these are addressed during automated testing.
Meet with end users and gather requirements in terms of test scripting.
Participate in daily stand-ups.
Analyse and implement business requirements specifications in terms of QA / testing.
Ensure that all processes are investigated / considered in obtaining the specifications of the user requirements.
Assist with the review system proposals and provide input from a QA perspective.
Review and present proposals to IT Lead, DevOps Team, rest of QA Team, and Product Owner / Business team.
Assist with adherence to IT Security standards and other compliance topics, quality standards and delivery requirements.
Scripting that is readable, extendable, re-usable, scalable, and efficient.
Ensure that all implementations / testing can be passed over to other testers, mid scripting/execution, with minimum of handover.
Ensure compliance & adherence to standards for audit adherence and quality assurance.
Actively participate and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, story size estimation, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
Update user stories in Jira and documentation in Confluence.
Perform Peer Reviews.
Perform demos of user stories in Agile ceremonies.
System testing/parallel runs.
User training.
Ensure user sign-off.
Prepare Production deployment plan documents i.t.o of test sign-off’s.
Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards).
Preparation/Updating of user and operation manuals and other Confluence documentation.
System implementation / deployment & release activities.
Assist with Production support & hyper-care after production deployments.
Assist with 2nd and 3rd level support of the system/product.
Assist with the Technical Lifecycle Management of the product.
Escalate deviations in test plans, blockers, impediments and other issues to the relevant Lead.
Setup and track a “lessons learnt” – sheet related to test topics.
Assist with Risk Identification, Assessment and Mitigation.
Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications/Experience:
Degree in IT or relevant experience
2 to 4+ years’ Software Testing experience
ISTQB Advanced Level Agile Technical Tester or ISEB Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing
Agile working experience (Mandatory)

Reporting – with attention to details and correctness.
