About the position
Design and develop complex SAP WM/EWM solutions to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
Maintaining and optimising existing implemented warehouse management features.
Perform system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including functional specifications and user manuals.
Support within the feature Go-Live preparation and post Go-Live activities such as hyper care.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WM/EWM functionalities.
Responsible for managing potential production incidents as part of the DEV team, including on-call duties approximately five times a year for 3rd level support.
Interaction with IT and business stakeholders through meetings, calls and emails.
Presenting concepts, specifications and implementations for IT and business stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices in warehouse management.
Any additional responsibilities assigned as per the Agile working Model Team Charter.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications/Experience:
BSc Computer Science degree or equivalent and relevant qualification from recognised South African university.
SAP ABAP Certification.
Minimum of 6 years ABAP experience, incl. minimum 2 years WM experience.

SAP WM Expertise incl. SAP Standard processes.
Configure and customize SAP WM/EWM module experience, including master data, inventory management, and warehouse processes.
Strong ABAP Development skills including, but not limited to:

Enhancement Framework,
EDI-IDOC, System Interfaces,

Supervision: Completely independent worker that will only escalate tasks that are complex and outside of their span of control. May need to lead individual members of a team of Entry and Advanced level experts.
