About the position
Leading investment management company seeks a skilled Full Stack Developer to join the specialist IT division to work on specialised in house development.
We seek an experienced candidate with a completed BSc Honours and minimum 5 years relevant full stack development preferably from within the financial services environment.
Overview of the role
- Design and build user-facing features using a modern front-end framework and TypeScript.
- Maintain and enhance a Storybook-driven component library following Atomic Design principles.
- Implement and maintain backend services and APIs using ASP.NET Core and SQL Server.
- Ensure applications are robust, performant, accessible and secure.
- Work in Agile (Scrum) teams, taking features from requirements to production.
- Contribute to technical design, code reviews, automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity, generate boilerplate, assist with debugging and accelerate delivery.
- Mentor junior developers and help improve engineering practices across the team.
- Triage and support overnight/batch processes, handle data feed issues with third parties, and provide user support as required.
- Experience with React also required
The role is hybrid and will require 3 days in the office.
