Full Stack Developer (Go, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) (CPT Hybrid)

About the position

ENVIRONMENT:

A dynamic Travel Agency seeks the coding talents of a Full Stack Developer with Go, HTML, CSS & JavaScript to join its growing team. In this role, you will work closely with the Founders and have an opportunity to put your stamp on a career-defining product. You will require experience scaling a marketplace or e-commerce business with an understanding of how to balance supply and demand and enhance the user experience. You will also preferably require proficiency with Microservice architecture, systems designs and relational databases and having built systems around REST calls. You will also need a solid understanding of how to structure and manage data within a company, including experience with tools like Mixpanel and Metabase for data visualisation and insights.

DUTIES:

Business & Technical Alignment –

• Bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.
• Translate business cases into technical strategies, ensuring that development efforts align with the company’s goals and market demands.

Solve problems and seize opportunities -

• Use their Tech Stack, Go, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure high-quality code and performance.
• Own the AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring the platform's stability, scalability, and security.

Data Management –

• Manage data structuring, ensure smooth data streams across the organisation and provide real-time insights and business intelligence.

API Integration –

• Lead the further integration of API connections with multiple PMS systems or Channel Managers, ensuring seamless real-time booking, availability management, and property data synchronisation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Marketplace/E-commerce – Experience scaling a marketplace or e-commerce business. Understand how to balance supply and demand and enhance the user experience.
• Preferred Technical Understanding of:
  
  • Microservice architecture, systems designs and relational databases
  • Go, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Built services around REST calls
  
  
• Data & Analytics: Strong understanding of how to structure and manage data within a company, including experience with tools like Mixpanel and Metabase for data visualisation and insights.
• Performance & Conversion Optimization: Experience with Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), ensuring that user flows and product features drive business growth.
