Managing the User Base of the Applications and assisting in the Promoting of such Applications.
Understanding the Business Requirements and Business Needs for the Application.
Prioritising the Business Requirements.
Building the Business Case based on the requirements.
Translating the Business Requirements into Technical Requirements.
Managing the build of these requirements and ensuring Requirements Testing is performed.
Managing Projects as an Application Owner.
Development of BI applications incl. data pipelines and dashboards as required.
Assisting Business with POCs and business value calculations from a developer perspective.
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model Charter.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications/Experience:
Relevant IT / Business / Engineering Degree.
8+ years experience in software development.
8+ years experience in project management.
Essential Skills Requirements:
Expertise in Data Intelligence and Business Intelligence.
AWS Development Experience and Python programming experience or other Data Driven Languages.
At least 5 years’ experience building big data pipelines (ETL, SQL, etc).
CI/CD pipeline development using Code Build and GitHub Actions.
Awareness of Tools such as Tableau, Qlik, MS PowerBI, or other BI tools and experience in Frontend Development Tools like Angular, Figma, React.
Expertise in Application Ownership in BI applications.
Experience in Data Flow Design, Data Analysis, Data Sync’s, Data Health Checks and Application Monitoring.
Ability to convert Business Requirements into Technical Requirements.
Advantageous Skills Requirements:
Experience in ITIL Processes (Problem, Incident and Change Management).
Requirements management and communication.
Requirements analysis and development.
Assisting with the Business Case.
Assist with identification and management of risks.
Awareness of Palantir Foundry or other similar BI tools.
Knowledge of Jira ,Confluence and Agile ceremonies.
Translating and simplifying requirements and creation of Epic’s.
Translating Epic’s and Requirements in Stories and Tasks.
Knowledge of Test Processes, Test Tools and Test Automation.
Test Driven Approach, Unit, Functional and Requirements Testing.
Understanding of integration between different technologies.
Coordination between development and support environments.
Eliciting requirements.
Requirements organisation.
Planning and monitoring.
