Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Fruit and Veg department.
- Ensure excellent customer service every customer should feel valued and appreciated.
- Handle customer queries, suggestions, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Manage receiving, cutting, packing, and merchandising of stock in line with company standards.
- Monitor department performance and ensure profitability through effective cost control.
- Maintain stock levels, reduce wastage, and minimise shrinkage.
- Plan and execute promotional activities in collaboration with store management.
- Recruit, train, and schedule staff; ensure adherence to company policies and hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address any staff issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure departmental compliance with company rules, security procedures, and operational standard

About The Employer:
Our client based in Paarl is looking to acquire an experienced Fruit and Veg Team Leader at one of our Wholesale Site that will be based in Paarl. Succesful candidates should possesses the following skills and experience:
- Grade 12 is essential
- Minimum 3 years experience in a retail store environment.
- Minimum 2 years Fruit & Veg Department supervisor experience
- Must be willing to work on weekends
- Good communication skills
- Must Resides in Paarl or close proximity
