They are currently looking for a Front-End Web Developer to help build modern, intuitive web applications that deliver a seamless user experience. Qualifications & Experience
- Matric (Grade 12) is required.
- A tertiary qualification in IT, Software Development or related field is advantageous.
- 3 – 5 Years working experience in Front-end Web Development
- Excellent English & Afrikaans communication skills.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Required:
- Proven experience in front-end web development with NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server or similar databases for data integration.
- Experience with web service implementation and API integration using ASP.NET.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Knowledge of AI tools and their application in web development (e.g., code generation, testing).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for design and usability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with TypeScript or other JavaScript supersets. (Preferred)
- Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap. (Preferred)
- Knowledge of progressive web apps and SEO best practices. (Preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain front-end web applications using ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement responsive and visually appealing designs provided by the UI designer.
- Integrate web services and APIs built with ASP.NET and connect to Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimise web applications for performance and scalability.
- Incorporate third-party libraries and APIs as needed for enhanced functionality.
- Utilise AI tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
- Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality standards.
- Stay informed about the latest web development trends, AI advancements, and best practices.
Working Conditions:
- This role is primarily remote, with the option to work from a shared office if preferred.
- The developer will collaborate with expert business and software developers.
