Job Title: Front End Developer (BI Focus) – Expert Level
 
About the Opportunity:
Our client in the motor industry is seeking an experienced Front End Developer (BI Focus) to join their dynamic IT Hub. As part of a globally integrated team, you will play a pivotal role in developing data-driven solutions within a modern cloud and business intelligence ecosystem. This opportunity offers exposure to an international environment and cutting-edge technologies within the automotive sector.


What You Will Do:


  • Develop and implement BI-focused front-end solutions in an agile, cloud-first environment


  • Work closely with global stakeholders to elicit and analyze business requirements


  • Design and maintain data integration processes using Oracle, PostgreSQL, and AWS Glue


  • Coordinate development and support tasks to ensure smooth delivery and operation


  • Engage in documentation, testing, and support of system and application developments


  • Apply strong problem-solving skills across cloud computing, database administration, and data transformation tools




RequirementsRequired Skills & Experience:


  • Minimum 8 years' experience in relational databases (Oracle and/or PostgreSQL)


  • 8+ years of ETL experience (Oracle, Informatica, or AWS Glue)


  • 8+ years of BI development, including at least 1–2 years in a cloud environment


  • Proficiency in:


    • AWS (Quicksight, Glue, EC2, Aurora PostgreSQL, CDK)


    • Terraform (IAAS)


    • Flyway, Github


    • Database administration and Agile delivery tools (Jira, Confluence)


    • QlikSense


  • A relevant IT or business-related degree


Advantageous Skills:


  • Exposure to other BI tools


  • Familiarity with AWS S3 and Athena
