One of the few remaining hybrid opportunities so you can choose to work in the office full time (with good flexi-time to avoid traffic) or, if you prefer, you are welcome to do 2 or 3 days' remote work a week.
What you will be doing:
- Design and implement scalable, responsive front-end architectures using React Native or Vue.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver cohesive and intuitive user experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code and optimize applications for performance.
- Participate in agile development processes and communicate effectively with diverse technical proficiencies.
- Play an active role in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Stay up to date with the latest information to enhance team success.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary degree would be beneficial (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
- Proven experience as a Front-End engineer, ideally with exposure to Fintech or financial institutions.
- Strong background in building and maintaining high-traffic Front-End systems.
- Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and (S)CSS.
- Familiar with mobile build tooling, publishing workflows for the App Store / Play Store, and OTA delivery (e.g., CodePush, Expo updates, etc.).
- Skilled in back-end integration using REST APIs, AWS, Firebase, and Google Cloud Console.
- Comfortable navigating complex tech stacks with an end-to-end product mindset and solid understanding of Git, CI/CD, and agile delivery practices.
