Front Arena Developer (6 Month Contract)

About the position

A leading financial institution seeks a Senior Front Arena Developer to address a large backlog of coding fixes, solution enhancements, and new feature deliveries within Front Arena. Ideal for a technically skilled professional with deep Front Arena and Python experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver coding fixes and enhancements across Front Arena components: Trade, Instruments, Cashflows, TextObjects, Settlements, Confirmations, and Business Processes
• Maintain and develop Power BI dashboards
• Provide input and direction on data strategy initiatives
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular updates
• Create documentation, user guides, and provide training for business and support teams
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, technology standards, and information security requirements
• Liaise with vendor where necessary

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years Front Arena development experience
• 5+ years Python (v3) development experience
• Strong CIB domain knowledge

Advantageous:

• Power BI expertise
• Background in banking environments

Contract Details:

• 6 Months
• R450 per hour (Note that it is the client's prerogative, regardless of advertised package, to offer a market related salary considering the candidate's qualifications, skills, and level of experience.)
