Job Overview:

This hands-on role offers the chance to learn a sought-after trade while working alongside experienced installers.
You will gain skills in measuring, templating, and handling frameless glass products such as showers, balustrades, and partitions.
The position is ideal for someone who is energetic, practical, and eager to grow within a niche sector of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan installation sequence and make on-site decisions for optimal alignment and fit.
• Accurately measure site dimensions to ensure perfect fit of glass panels.
• Create and use templates for cutting, drilling, and installing tempered glass.
• Install hardware, including hinges, handles, brackets, seals, and magnetic strips.
• Support senior installers on-site with daily tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow company procedures and safety standards.
• Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn new skills.
• Assist with the transport and setup of glass products.
• Inspect completed installations for quality, safety, and aesthetics.
• Uphold quality standards in all work carried out.
• Clean and maintain glass panels after installation, and provide clients with care guidance.

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12).
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
• Willingness to be trained in frameless glass installation.
• Basic measurement knowledge.
• Knowledge of tempered glass.
• Template knowledge. 

Remuneration:

R10 000 - R12 000 Depending on Experience.
