Forex Administrator (Must have RE)

About the position

PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for forex dealing - spots options and forwards, transaction-based advice, market related information, money market solutions, onboarding and settlements.
KEY RELATIONS
SARB, Authorised dealers, key clients and other preferred suppliers and internal business units.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
RE Examination.
5 years' experience in an admin environment

Existing clients

• Execute and administer authorised foreign exchange transactions, including Spot and Forward Exchange Contracts (FECs) and FX options in accordance with client mandate and approved dealing limits
  ? Obtain and verify client instructions and ensure all required approvals are in place prior to dealing.
  ? Obtain competitive FX rates from approved banking counterparties and execute transactions within authorised parameters.
  ? Record and capture all FX deals accurately, including currency, amount, rate, value date, counterparty and settlement details.
  ? Issue and verify deal confirmations and ensure transactions are correctly reflected in the relevant treasury systems.
  ? Monitor FEC maturities, outstanding positions and settlement requirements.
  ? Coordinate the settlement of Spot and FEC transactions and follow up on any exceptions or discrepancies.
  ? Maintain complete supporting documentation and an audit trail for all transactions.
