About the position
Join the Culinary Team at One of the Region’s Top Hospitality Venues - our client looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our client’s kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves food, wants to learn, and is ready to start a career in the culinary world. In this entry-level role, you’ll help with food preparation and basic cooking tasks while gaining hands-on experience and building the skills needed to grow in a professional kitchen.
Requirements:
- Assist with the preparation and serving of food and drinks
- Maintain cleanliness in food areas, including counters, tables, and equipment
- Handle basic till or payment systems (if required)
- Support kitchen and catering staff with general duties
- Follow food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
Qualification and Experience:
- Matric certificate
- 1 year of experience
- Cooking skills, Knife skills and product knowledge
