FMCG Area Manager at Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd

About the position

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee the operations of five restaurants located in the Boland region, with a primary base in Worcester. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with the company standards, and achieving financial and customer satisfaction targets across all assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a group of 5  restaurants to achieve business objectives.
  
• Drive performance through coaching, mentoring, and leadership of Restaurant General Managers.
  
• Ensure consistent compliance with operational standards, food safety, and hygiene requirements.
  
• Implement and monitor company policies, procedures, and brand standards across all stores.
  
• Analyse and interpret operational reports to identify areas for improvement.
  
• Set and monitor sales, labour, and profitability targets for each location.
  
• Ensure delivery of an exceptional customer experience across all sites.
  
• Recruit, train, and develop team members in collaboration with HR.
  
• Lead store audits and ensure readiness for internal and external inspections.
  
• Champion a high-performance, results-driven culture.
  
  

RequirementsRequirements:

• KFC Certified Area Manager (essential – applicants without this certification will not be considered).
  
• Minimum 3-5 years of multi-unit QSR management experience, preferably a similar fast-paced franchise environment.
  
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  
• Proven track record in achieving operational and financial KPIs.
  
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Boland region.
  
• Based in or willing to relocate to Worcester.
