DESCRIPTION/SYNOPSYS:

This reputable manufacturing company in Cape Town are looking for an experienced Flexographic Senior Printing Operator for their new operational plant in Cape Town. This key role involves operating flexographic printing presses, ensuring quality output, and coordinating with production teams to meet tight deadlines. If you're a skilled press operator with a keen eye for detail and a passion for print quality, we want to hear from you!

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric / High School diploma
• Qualified Printing Machine Minder
• Proven experience operating flexographic printing presses
• Strong understanding of color theory and print quality standards
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to safe practices

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses
• Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments during production
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of printing equipment
• Ensure finished products meet customer and quality specifications
• Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams for smooth operations
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
• Keep accurate production records and complete production sheets
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Manage ink and plate inventory efficiently
