About the position
Our Client is looking for a Flexo Graphic Printer Operators to join their team
Location: Industria Johannesburg
Job Summary
The Flexographic Printer Operator will be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining flexo printing machines. The role requires technical skill, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to print quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate flexographic printing presses
- Prepares substrates, inks, and dies according to job specifications
- Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments during runs
- Perform regular machine maintenance and cleaning
- Troubleshoot printing issues and minimize downtime
- Record production data and maintain accurate job logs
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Work closely with supervisors and other departments to meet production targets
Requirements
- Proven experience operating flexographic printing machines (e.g., CI, stack, or narrow web)
- Good understanding of inks, substrates, and print quality standards
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret production specifications and job orders
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Flexibility to work shifts and overtime if required
- Strong team player with good communication skills
