About Our Client
A well-established logistics and transport operation managing a busy and growing fleet. The team is focused on ensuring efficient, compliant, and reliable delivery operations across the region.
The Role: Fleet Controller
This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of fleet operations. You will oversee driver performance, vehicle availability, and maintenance scheduling to ensure optimal fleet utilisation and minimum downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring 3-5 years of experience in fleet coordination or transport operations
- Manage fleet capacity, schedules, and availability
- Supervise and support drivers to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Monitor vehicle performance, usage, and maintenance needs
- Coordinate vehicle repairs and liaise with workshops
- Ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures
- Maintain accurate fleet records and documentation
- Assist with route planning and transport logistics as required
About You
- 3-5 years experience in a fleet controller or similar role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Logistics or transport qualification advantageous
- Computer literacy and basic admin/reporting skills
