About the position
The Fleet Controller will be responsible for but not limited to; fleet management and monitoring, ensuring that each vehicle reaches its production and diesel targets, constant communication with drivers and team, administering and controlling the daily attendance of drivers, and assisting in the capturing of data.
REQUIREMENTS
- Senior Certificate.
- Code B driver's license & own transport.
- Required to travel from time to time.
- Available after business hours & during weekends.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Production & diesel targets are met.
- The fleet management system is monitored & managed.
- Communication with drivers & team.
- Data is captured accurately.
- Documents and reports are submitted accurately and as per deadlines.
- Vehicle maintenance issues communicated.
- Vehicle services are planned & scheduled.
CAPABILITIES & COMPETENCIES
- Excellent communication & relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organising & prioritising skills.
- Ability to work in a systematic, method-cal & orderly manner in order to achieve goals on a consistent basis.
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Ability to work long hours & work under pressure.
- Accepting & tackling demanding goals with enthusiasm, hard workmanship, commitment & willingness to put in longer hours when necessary.
- Ability to plan activities in advance and take account of possible changing circumstances
