About the position
A leading manufacturing facility in the Nelspruit area is seeking an experienced Fitter and Turner to join their Maintenance Workshop team. This role is ideally suited to a skilled artisan looking for a stable opportunity in a dynamic production environment, with a focus on electrical.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Repair plant equipment and machine related breakdowns
- New installations
Minimum Requirements & Experience
- Matric with at least a N3 Mechanical Trade Theory
- Qualified Artisan (Fitter & Turner) with a Trade Certificate
- 5+ years’ experience post-apprenticeship experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector
- Rigging knowledge
- Competent to work with Lathe and Milling Machines
- Arc and welding experience
- Knowledge of boiler house operations
