Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate finishing tasks across various construction projects.
- Develop and manage schedules, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to deadlines.
- Supervise and train construction teams and subcontractors, maintaining high standards of performance and safety.
- Oversee the use of machinery and equipment, ensuring proper operation and maintenance.
- Address and resolve issues as they arise, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Provide regular progress reports to management and stakeholders, keeping them informed of project status and milestones.
- Uphold a culture of excellence and quality, ensuring all work meets or exceeds industry standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum Matric with relevant tertiary education
- Drivers License and own vehicle non non-negotiable
- Proven experience in construction, with a strong background in finishing trades.
- Comprehensive understanding of multiple construction trades, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, joinery, plastering, brickwork, and concrete.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans.
- Excellent mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Good physical health and stamina, capable of working in a demanding environment.
- Ability to work effectively under strict deadlines and follow project schedules.
Remuneration:
Market Related - Negotiable on experience and qualification
