Basic salary + commission
You're a confident communicator, fluent in both English and Afrikaans, with a genuine interest in people and their financial futures. You're comfortable handling client queries, managing your time effectively, and thrive in a professional team environment. You value continuous learning and development, and bring a blend of empathy and strategic thinking to client interactions.
You'll be advising new and existing clients on local and offshore investment portfolios, helping them achieve their financial goals. With an established onboarding process, daily fresh leads, and a small book of existing clients, you'll conduct virtual and in-person consultations, prepare investment reviews, and provide guidance on estate planning, wills, and tax strategies. You'll also stay up to date with market developments and compliance requirements while being part of a collaborative team based in Rondebosch.
You'll be joining a dynamic and growing independent financial advisory firm with a strong reputation in the investment and financial planning space. With a focus on both local and offshore solutions, the company fosters a collaborative, team-oriented culture that values continuous learning, personal development, and professional excellence.
You'll need a completed commerce/finance degree, at least 1 years' experience as a financial planner, and a strong command of both English and Afrikaans. The RE5 regulatory exam is a must, strong MS Office skills and a passion for client service are essential.
